Wood stain is extremely flammable, so it is necessary to understand how to prevent a fire from starting if you are working on a project like staining your deck.
1. Stain wood that is outside or in a well-ventilated room.
2. Keep open flames far away from the stain.
3. Avoid smoking nearby.
4. Do not have a pilot light near where you are staining.
5. Immerse used rags in water before they are put into the trash.

2. Never put your head near the grill while lighting it – always stand back.
3. Never grill in a confined space, such as a garage.

5. Never start your grill with gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol – only use lighter fluid.
