Contractor Connection’s 2016 Global Day of Service

PURO-TEC PROPERTY RESTORATION participated in Contractor Connection’s 2016 Global Day of Service this past Saturday, October 15th. This is a day that we had been looking forward to because the Global Day of Service is an opportunity for us to complete a project for someone living in our community. By participating, we are able to give back to others, which is deeply rooted in our company’s values.

This year, we completed a few projects for a senior citizen whose home was in need of preparation for the winter months. Successfully providing these services was particularly important to us given the damages that can occur as a result of not properly preparing a home for fall and winter weather.

In addition to cleaning up debris in the yard and outside of her home, volunteers from PURO-TEC cleaned out the gutters, installed gutter guards to prevent debris and leaves from accumulating, re-pointed the chimney, and temporarily repaired the roof.

These clean-up and repair services were completed in order to safeguard this woman’s home from the wind, rain, snow, and ice that can be expected in the coming months.

We are very grateful to have been able to participate in the 2016 Global Day of Service, and we would like to extend our gratitude to Contractor Connection for their support of giving back to those living in our communities. We are looking forward to next year!
