Summer Cleaning Part 1

We have all heard of “Spring Cleaning,” but cleaning and organizing your home can be a great idea any time of the year! Today’s post focuses on cleaning tips that you can start using in your home right now.

Here’s a summary of what was shared!

“7 EXPERT CLEANING TIPS YOU NEED TO BE USING!” (Clean My Space)
1. “Top to Bottom Left to Right” – Clean top to bottom and left to right/right to left (your choice!): This helps to ensure that you are keeping already cleaned surfaces free of dirt/debris and that you do not miss a space.

2. “Have Everything With You!” – Take all of the products/tools that you need with you to the room that you are cleaning: This allows you to clean in the most time efficient manner.

3. “Dwell Time” – Allow time for the cleaning product to sit on the surface before wiping it away: This can usually be found on the label of the product and helps to ensure that the product works most effectively.

4. “Start Gentle!” – Start with the most gentle products: This allows you to assess the need for more heavy duty cleaning agents.

5. “The Eye Level Test!” – Implement the eye level test: This helps to see which spots you may have missed, which you may not be able to see when looking down at a surface.

6. “The ‘S’ Pattern!” – Use the “S Pattern:” This can prevent streaking and is a faster way to clean (while also preventing clean spots from becoming dirty again!).

7. “Parallel & Perpendicular” – Align items so that they are parallel or perpendicular: This tip addresses how to arrange items so that a surface appears the most clean and tidy.
