PHILAPOSH Fall Protection Training

On August 5, 2016, PURO-TEC PROPERTY RESTORATION hosted a “Fall Protection in Residential Construction” training presented by the Philadelphia Area Project on Occupational Safety and Health (PHILAPOSH).

Over 20 contractors, sub-contractors, and employees of PURO-TEC participated in this fall protection safety training. During the training, discussions and demonstrations described how to properly and safely work on residential projects that may include or require scaffolding, ladders, harnesses, and lifts, such as work that is completed on roofs.

Further, attendees learned about the potentially severe consequences that can result when work is completed without the proper safety precautions. One contractor described that his take away from the training was, “Safety first!”

PURO-TEC PROPERTY RESTORATION is so glad to have completed this training, so that we can be safe and use the proper safety precautions when working on projects at our clients’ homes.
