Hurricane Season

What can you do as a homeowner to prepare for hurricane season?

According to ready.gov some things you can do are:
-Build an emergency kit
-Find out if your property is flood prone
-Secure your property (ex. cover windows)
-Trim trees and shrubs that surround your property
-Clear clogged rain gutters
-Bring anything that it not tied down outside inside
-Install a generator for emergencies
